AOIF launches “The Garden of Imagination”
The Arts of Imagination Foundation is excited to announce “The Garden of Imagination,” a new art exhibit in collaboration with ESMoA and CDI Early Learning Center. This imaginative display invites reflection on how timeless stories shape both cultural and personal perspectives, sparking conversations between generations and communities.
Anchored by an original 1914 drawing by John R. Neill for the original Wizard of Oz book series, the exhibit features two inspired story book illustrations by contemporary Los Angeles based artists, Jacori “Aiseborn” Perry and Carlos “Kopyeson” Talavera, and two abstract pastoral renderings by German artist, Bernhard Zünkeler.
Through a mix of whimsical illustrations and thought-provoking artworks, “The Garden of Imagination” aims to inspire viewers of all ages to connect with the magic of storytelling. By transforming a community space into a creative environment, this experience fosters personal connections with art, encouraging meaningful dialogue across cultures and generations.
A stroll through a blooming garden on a warm summer’s day brings with it a host of delights. The flowers. The colors. And what else?… “The Garden of Imagination” invites us to look closer at nature around us, and to find the unexpected whimsy of a story waiting to be discovered.
What creative story will a garden stroll inspire in you?…
